SORNE covers BJORK "One of My Biggest Inspirations"

Mesmerizing.
New Covers!

Brand New - Morgan Sorne is nothing if not a dramatic storyteller, an theatrical empath and a driven artist. This week SORNE offers up an absolutely stunning revision of songs by Bjork using - only his "voice and a handful of my sampled sounds including chopsticks, a desk and a canvas as percussive instruments." Bjork's songs are other-worldly, challenging and original. Sorne's treatment of the songs is tender but menacing in focus, this laser-like attention to details is softened by the singer's clear comfort in performing.

"When I was about eight or nine years old, I first saw Bjork with The Sugarcubes on Saturday Night Live. Over the years, she has been one of my biggest inspirations, and so, I have created these versions of her songs," writes Sorne. This is wonderful stuff.
