PLEASED TO MEET YOU - The best introductions are always through friends and those by happy accident - so perhaps it should be of no surprise that we have something very special for you this morning. For the first time anywhere - this is the only place, for that matter - you can download a new song from Pittsburgh's talented Good Night, States.

We'll keep the download open for one week, getting folks excited about the band's wicked new record, "Country/Static" going live to the public on April 5th. Two things about the new record, it's the type of record to get excited about - it's the best work of the band's young career and I think it may also prove to be one of the best "East Coast" indie releases of 2012. Only time will tell, but it's hard not to get excited when the songs sound as good as this... Pittsburgh, you have much to be proud of.
