Mean Creek will rock Smoke & Sand
Boston's Best Rock Band
Get's Added to Austin's Top Show
Confirmed for Smoke & Sand
Free Show! Mar 19th - Austin, TX
Last year the New England rock scene fell in love with a new darling. Dark and hopeful sounds both sprung from instruments belonging to Boston's Mean Creek. It was all larger than life. The contrast of a quiet, mild mannered band of scrawny kids devastating large audiences became common place.
The band was fueled by the songs from their new album The Comedian - a record that won Best New Album at the Boston Music Awards. Well deserved we say, based on the scalding live performance the band delivered on stages with Dead Confederate and Alberta Cross fans were treated to on tour this year.
And then there was their raging CMJ set in which they completely burned it down. The band returned to Boston and finished the songs on the compelling, self-released Hemophiliac EP (Free Download - DOWNLOAD OR DIE).
It's a very bright future. Mean Creek will play a string of east coast dates in April with Boston legends Buffalo Tom. One thing is for certain. If you are at the music festival this year, you absolutely do not want to miss Boston's Best Rock Band for FREE at Smoke & Sand.
