Austin's BAWY are one of my favorites in the US these days - and for so many good reasons: their witty lyrics, unconventional song structures and frenetic stage performances have become the stuff of indie legend. The band's new album, Patterns, will be self-released. The first single, Up!, follows. Patterns is set for a November 16th release. I promise you this is one you are going to want to check out.
MEET THE BAND - The Black and White Years Formed in 2006, the band consists of Scott Butler, Landon Thompson, John Aldridge and Billy Potts. Since their formation they've released 2 full lengths and 1 EP and have played festivals such as CMJ Music Festival, Fun Fun Fun Fest, Austin City Limits Music Festival, MIDEM, Wireless Festival.
