Very Fine - Todd Fancey of the New Pornographers releases a new album

Todd Fancey has just released another new solo project and its definitely worth checking out! Fancey, who sings plays guitars and keyboards for the New Pornographers, offers up "Schmancey" (Fancey Schmancey - get it?) and demonstrates his growing influence here as co-producer and writer. The songs on the new record are layered and ethereal - a product of the metaphorical sunshine they were born under. The album as a whole acts as a showcases Fancey's evident dedication to a harmonies and full, rounded sound. No where is this more evident than in the rich production values (think Brian Wilson on Pet Sounds) used to color the album...
